About Us

How it Started

Life takes people in different directions, but sometimes, old friendships resurface in unexpected ways. That was the case in this situation.

One day, I came across a post from an old friend whom I hadn’t seen in over a decade. He had been stricken with life altering paralysis. As he faced new challenges, he was also stepping away from his once thriving business, Can You Handlebar, which had earned a loyal following in the men’s grooming industry.

In an effort to support him during this transition, I stepped in to help with production. While our initial hope was to bridge a temporary gap, the experience rekindled our friendship and inspired deeper conversations about life’s purpose.

The values that guided his work resonated deeply with me. Inspired by those same principles, I set out to create something of my own.

That decision became Bottled Virtue.

Our Mission

To create premium, all natural grooming products that help men look their best, feel confident, and live with purpose.

Our Purpose

To create a place where people can reconnect with nature, with one another, and with themselves; especially when life feels overwhelming or isolating.

The Work Behind the Purpose

Many people today are outwardly capable and responsible, yet inwardly tired, disconnected, or overwhelmed in ways they don’t always have words for. They need space to slow down, breathe, and come back into alignment with who they already are.

The long-term vision for Bottled Virtue is to steward a large piece of land in Michigan, a place set apart from constant urgency and pressure. A place where people can move their bodies, work with their hands, sit in silence, and share honest conversation.

This land is meant to serve individuals and groups seeking time in nature to slow down and regain their footing. Through quiet space, shared effort, movement, and conversation, it offers an environment where people can reconnect with nature, with one another, and with themselves.

Not as an escape from life, but as a way to return to it more grounded.

Simple spaces. Shared presence. Time outdoors.
A setting that supports restoration rather than demands performance.

The grooming products are part of this same philosophy.

Bottled Virtue offers simple, daily rituals that invite attention and intention. Each product is named after a virtue. Growth doesn’t happen through dramatic change. It happens through small, repeated acts of care.

Every bottle sold helps move this work forward. What starts as a quiet moment in front of the mirror is meant to point toward something wider; community, steadiness, and a way of living that holds strength and gentleness together.
